ARTIST MENTORING
BREAKTHROUGH SESSIONS
A chance for to dive into exploring what you want to achieve and how you can set about doing so. In a safe friendly environment these face to face sessions use a variety of creative processes and exercises to release limiting belief and replace them with clear goals to achieve your desired outcomes.
ONE TO ONE SESSIONS - (Face to Face or On-Line)
There are many points in your creative journey where a mentor can help you find clarity, find ways to focus your ideas and achieve your goals.
I have worked with artists to develop strategies to tackle imposter syndrome, overwhelm in the studio and making choices in where to direct their energies. However the role of a mentor is to facilitate and to enable you to find your own solution so that is fits you and not to impose ideas.
Reasons to choose a Mentor include:
PROGRESS YOUR STUDIO PRACTICE
PREPARE FOR INTERVIEWS
REVIEW A BODY OF WORK
BEGIN A NEW PROJECT
A PLACE TO START
Julia Chance - Artist
Cläre has regularly critiqued my work and discussed my approach to it. Her input is always extremely perceptive both in terms of improving individual works in progress as well as in helping to nurture a mindset conducive to a healthy creative output.
Cläre observes and listens intently, and her feedback is always both intellectually incisive and highly practical as well as being delivered with tact (and often with a welcome nugget of humour too).
Cläre is a very experienced teacher whose natural warmth and clear joy in discussing art and the issues surrounding the creative process are immediately apparent at the start of any conversation.
I highly recommend her as a mentor if you are looking for someone to help you fulfil your potential and navigate the inevitable blocks that are encountered whilst working through creative projects.
